Everything You Need To Know About the Upside Cash Back App
Step 1: Download the App
In order to start using the Upside app (formerly known as the getupsideapp) head here to the Apple app store, or here to the Google play store to initiate the app download.
Once you’ve started the app download process, be ready to create an account. You can make a username and password, or you can simply sign in using Facebook, which is usually the easiest.
Step 2: Find Participating Businesses in Your Area
Once you have the app downloaded onto your mobile device, you’re ready to start getting rewarded right away.
You will immediately be able to find offers that are available near you. You can zoom out or zoom in and move around the area as well to find the nearest offers.
You’ll see right away that the getupside app offers gas station perks, and every once in awhile there will be an additional perk.
For example, I usually see anywhere from 2 cents per gallon rewards, but every now and then I’ll see an offer for 25 cents back per gallon. That’s a great way to save on gas!
Step 3: Claim an Offer
When you are ready to claim an offer head to your Upside app on your phone and press on the gas station (or restaurant) that you’re at.
Press the button on the bottom of the page that says “claim offer”
Step 4: Complete Your Claimed Deal
To complete your claimed deal, you will have a set amount of time, usually 4 hours to upload and attach a receipt.
Make sure that you get a paper receipt or you will not be able to claim the offer!
Step 5: Upload the Receipt or Check In
Once you upload your receipt inside of the Upside app your work is done!
Just sit back and wait for your email saying that you’ve received your reward.
Step 6: Cash Out!
Once you have $15 of rewards in your Upside app you are eligible to cash out.
When you are ready to cash out you’ll have the opportunity to deposit the free money into Paypal, or your choice of several different restaurants.
